How to Troubleshoot Login Issues on Circit
Authentication and login issues can arise for different reasons while using Circit. This guide explains the most common scenarios and provides step-by-step resolutions for both regular Circit users with existing accounts and external providers trying to access requests on Circit.
General Troubleshooting Steps
Check Your Email for Password Reset Links: If you have requested a password reset, ensure you check all email folders, including spam or junk, for an email from Circit with the reset link.
Verify Your Email Address Used for Login: Make sure you are entering the correct email address associated with your Circit account when attempting to reset your password.
For Circit Users
If you are a Circit user with an existing account, follow these steps to resolve specific issues:
Login Fails Even After Password Reset
Check Email Folders: As mentioned above, confirm that you’ve received and used the correct password reset email from Circit.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Issues: If you cannot log in due to MFA problems, you will need to request an MFA reset. To do so:
Submit a request to Circit support, including your full name (as displayed on your Circit account) and the email address used for login.
Once the verification process is complete, Circit Support will reset your MFA and provide guidance for setting up MFA again.
For External Providers Without Existing Accounts
If you are an external provider trying to access a request on Circit and do not already have an account:
Why You Cannot Log In
Circit login and password reset functionality are only available to users with existing accounts. If you don't have an account, password reset emails will not be sent to your email address.
How to Access Requests and Create an Account
Locate the email invitation sent to your inbox. This email will contain a unique link/button titled something like “Respond on Circit.”
Click the link to open the request and verify your email.
After submitting or saving your response to the request, you will see an option to create a secure account.
Click on “Create your secure account” to begin the process and follow the on-screen instructions to complete registration.
